The Department of Sociology will hold another big event. After the success of the APSSI International Conference in 2017, in 2019, the Department of Sociology will hold another International Conference that is planned to partner with ASWGI (Center for Women/Gender and Child Study).
In the meeting held on October 31, 2018 last Wednesday, it is planned that the event may be held during the month of August with several foreign keynote speakers, one of whom is Prof. Lyn Parker who will have been an adjunct professor in the Department of Sociology by next year.
The theme is planned to be titled Gender and Social Inclusion, however, the theme is tentative as the committee is still finalizing it. It is planned that the event will be led by Prof. Emy Susanti, who is one of the teaching staff in the Department of Sociology as well as the chairperson of ASWGI. │RAP│
